RICB/GEN/CO/RURAL/2022/11325 Date: 26th of October 2022
The Royal Insurance Corporation of Bhutan Limited (RICB) would like to inform the General Public that the Rural House Insurance Premium collection for 2023 shall begin in November 2022.
Accordingly, we request gewogs, thromdes, and Dungkhags/Dzongkhags to begin the collection and deposit the premiums to the nearest RICB Branch Office as per the timeline provided below:
31st of December 2022, gewogs and thromdes should complete the collection of the Rural House Insurance Premiums.
15th of January 2023, gewogs and thromdes should deposit the premiums to the Dungkhag/Dzongkhags.
15th of February 2023, Dungkhag/Dzongkhag should deposit the premiums to the nearest RICB Branch Office.
Please, note that RICB shall not be liable for compensation of losses if the premiums
are not updated as per the timeline provided here.
