The Royal Insurance Corporation of Bhutan Limited would like to inform the general public that with effect from the 1st of January 2024, a cooling period of 30 days from the policy inception date shall be applicable for the Drukyul Life Insurance Policy (DLIP).
Except for accidental deaths, claims under other causes of death shall be not permissible during the cooling period.This amendment however is not applicable to DLIP policyholders who purchased the policy before the 1st of January 2024.
