The Royal Insurance Corporation of Bhutan Limited signs Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Royal Civil Service Commission and Army Welfare Project (AWP) on 25/04/2013.
With the signing of the MoU, RCSC shall insure all ex-country scholars managed by RCSC under the Student’s Health Insurance Scheme. Through the health insurance, RICB shall provide immediate medical services to the scholars through the network of more than 4,500 hospitals empanelled by RICB in India, Thailand and Sri Lanka.
While the AWP signed the MoU to insure all the employees under the Ten-tsai Mangul Ngenchoel, a new life insurance scheme. This was initiated by AWP as an employee welfare scheme and AWP is the first organization in the country to buy a life insurance policy for its employees.
For RICB the above initiatives mark yet another milestone in providing social security to the citizens of the country.
